Crazy Roots

This is one of those just who I am things, I grew up on the last street on the last house at the foothills of the Black Mesa (Elkins Hill) on the Zuni Canyon side, part of Milan, NM. Black Mesa is notable because it was the site of the last war in America.

So I grew up with these guys, and all the Navajo trickster humor thing. Some of that humor is generational but it’s the quiet internal laugh and smile thing that makes hard life tolerable. Closely related to feed store and stable humor in ways, (have you ever peed on an electric fence stuff). It teaches you to not take older people too serious, plus a good portion of our high school either worked at the lotaburger or had a friend who did. You had to learn the difference between “grape pop” and “POP pop” and know one of the influencers for young people’s on elkins hill and that was Bronco Martinez.

By the way the micro compliances are a form of hypnosis or brainwashing (charms or enchantments)🤠

I’m still here.
